Workers Compensation

If you were injured as a result of an accident which happened at work or when you were travelling to or from work, then you have entitlements to recieve Workers Compensation. Workers Compensation is a no fault scheme, and this means that you don't have to prove that your accident was caused by someone elses negligence in order to claim compensation.

The types of compensation you can claim through Workers Compensation include:

Payment of benefits for time off work
Payment of medical and rehabilitation expenses
Payment of travel expenses for attending doctors appointments
Lump Sum Compensation for your injuries and impairment

When the insurer accepts liability for your claim, they will usually pay your medical expenses and loss of wages automatically. What they usually don't tell you about is your right to also claim lump sum compensation.

Please note that you are still eligible to claim lump sum compensation for your injuries and impairment even if you are no longer working for the same company or even if your injury happened many years ago.

Even after your lump sum claim has settled, you are still entitled to recieve ongoing payment of your medical expenses and wage loss from the insurance company.

Has Your Claim been denied? If the insurer does not accept liability for your claim, it is not the end of the story. We will prepare your case for asessment by the Workers Compensation Commisssion in order to claim all of the workers compenstion benefits you are entitled to recieve.

Contact us today and we will arrange an assessment of your claim at no cost to you.
